How to Withdraw

 

We have no ATMs, no cash, no cashier's checks, no travelers' cheques, no money orders.  When you need to withdraw funds, you have two main options: ask us to write you a check or withdraw electronically.  

Option #1:  You may withdraw electronically, via the Automated Clearing House (ACH). (You may also deposit via ACH; see ACH Deposits).

Option #2:  If we have your current  mailing address* on file, you may have us give--or send you--a check.   For our mailing address, location, and unusual hours, click on How to Reach Us.  When you want us to prepare a check for you, here are your options: 

    a. Write to us.  Send a handwritten or hand-printed letter to our mailing address:  Women's Southwest FCU - PO Box 720207 - Dallas TX 75372.  Sign your full  legal signature so that we can compare it to the one you wrote on your New Account Card when you joined us.  Give us your full legal name and Women's Southwest savings account number.  We'll mail you a check.  

               b. Call us during the hours when we answer the phone.  Answer a series of questions to identify you and safeguard your funds.              We mail checks within 24 hours (see "If You Have a New Mailing Address" below).

               c. Call ahead.  We'll have a check ready for you to pick up at our office during the hours our office is usually open. 

*If you have a new mailing address, please give it to us in person or enclose it  on a separate sheet of paper  with your share withdrawal request.
