deposits will be credited as of the business day [Monday through Friday]
they reach our PO Box. Requests for withdrawals will be handled by mail
(although not necessarily as quickly as if we were open).
IN CASE OF ANY MORE FIRES OR OTHER DISASTERS IN SAN DIEGO:
OPEN HOURS: Both Cal Feminist staffers live 5 to 10 minutes away (by car)
from the credit union office. We can commute to the credit union without using
the freeways.
As we did during the October 2007 fires, we should normally be able to maintain
our regular office and telephone hours (see below). (When Cal Coast CU closes
the lobby doors of the building--as they did part of the time during the fires-- you will
need to telephone us to gain admittance to the building.)
OFFICE LOCATION: Our office is located in the University Heights
neighborhood of San Diego (see directions below).

Doors open: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Pacific Time

disaster, you may want to know if the credit union has been affected. In case we
are unable to update our Web site in a timely manner, we'll try to provide
information on an alternate number that many credit unions use:

24-HOUR ANSWERING SYSTEM: call to check rates; request forms; hear
directions, bus and parking info; listen to possible last-minute changes in
our sometimes unusual holiday/vacation schedule. We urge you
to check our schedule before traveling to our office.
You are welcome to visit our office but you are not required to do so.
You can conduct all business by other methods.

above. Send no mail to our street address! If it will reach our box on a day that
our office (sic) will be closed, please waive the signature requirement.
b. If you must use a delivery service such as Fed-Ex, UPS, etc., to reduce
delays, inform them:

If you are a member or prospective member and wish to visit our office
during the hours that our office door is open--see above--you are welcome
to do so.
Directions to our office:
Please send all mail to our PO Box above. You may conduct all business
through some combination of phone, Internet, faxes, and postal mail. An
in-person visit to our office is NOT required. If you prefer to stop by, here
are directions: we are located in California Coast Credit Union's building at:
4470 Park Blvd, #104, San Diego 92116. It's in the University Heights area of
San Diego, between Adams Avenue & El Cajon Blvd, between 163 and 805
freeways.
From 163, take the Washington Street East exit. At the end of the
exit, turn right. Go past the Education Center and turn left onto Park Boulevard.
If you’re heading North on 805, take the El Cajon Boulevard exit. Turn
left onto El Cajon Boulevard. Turn right onto Park Boulevard.
Heading South on 805, take the Adams Avenue/Madison Avenue exit.
At the end of the exit go straight ahead on Madison for about one mile. At the
top of the hill, turn left onto Park Boulevard.
From Interstate 8, you can take either 805 South, as we just mentioned,
or you can take Texas Street South to the top of the hill. At the gas station,
turn right onto Madison Avenue. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Park Blvd.
Parking: once on Park Boulevard, you may park at the meters in front of the
building and go up 3 steps For free parking and ramp/wheelchair access, turn
West on Monroe. Go half a block. Turn left into the alley and enter the parking lot
behind California Coast Credit Union. Park on the West or North side of the
building. There is some free parking on side streets and one block West of Park
Boulevard. Our office is on the first floor, near the elevator. To the left of our door
you’ll find a black and white sign with Braille and raised letters.
BUS: Ask the #11 driver to drop you off at Park Boulevard and Monroe; we're
only half a block from the stop. We are on the #11 bus route; we are near the
#1, #15, and #115.
